Amortization is the breakdown of all payments over the lifetime of a loan. Mortgage Balance : The amount of money needed to be financed. Interest Rate (%) : The annual percentage rate at which the loan will be paid back. Term Type : The frequency at which payments will be paid. Number of Years : The number of years in the lifetime of the loan. A larger number allows for smaller payments, but the total amount paid at the end is greater. A smaller number yields larger payments and a lower total ending amount. Some typical loan periods are 5, 10, 15 and 30 years. [Home] [Why Ruth?] [Buyers] [Listings] [Links] [Calculators] [Contact]
